Rioja For The Matador

Journalist Henry Meyenbeeker, who is reporting from the most famous of all Spanish wine regions, inadvertently finds himself in the midst of a dispute raging between a large winery and a young highly committed co-operative. When the co-operative’s oenologist dies in a car crash, Meyenbeeker is alarmed, but there is no evidence of a crime.

As the journalist digs deeper, he manages to antagonise an increasing number of people. Friends turn into enemies, lashing out at him, whilst strangers suddenly become his allies. Is it all about power or something else entirely?
