Forgotten by Autumn

Three women, three lives.

It’s too late for reconciliation: for ten years Maja Sternberg has had no contact with her mother Lilli – and now Lilli is dead. The police in Vienna suspect suicide, but Maja doesn’t want to believe it. In her mother’s flat, she finds Lilli’s birth certificate, but her father’s name is missing. There’s also a photo of Maja’s grandmother Charlotte holding a baby, but this dark-skinned child doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to Lilli, who was very fair and had blue eyes. Driven by guilt and curiosity, Maja tries to get to the bottom of this mystery and is confronted with a sinister family secret which destroys all certainty in her life with a single stroke…
