The Barolo Trail

A light-hearted wine-tasting trip to the Piedmont ends in disaster. Harald Sturm, one of seven wine connoisseurs from Dusseldorf, disappears without trace. Could he have been kidnapped? If so, it can only have happened on the flight home from Turin. But how? And why? Is he still alive? Sturm’s Italian wife Francesca is determined to get answers to these questions as quickly as possible, but the authorities are proving less than cooperative. So the single-minded signora decides to take the matter in hand; masquerading as a wine-buyer, she sets out on investigations of her own.
